The Memorabilia Registry (MemReg)

MemReg.com is a website for the Registry where autographed Memorabilia and other unique collectibles can be registered and documented; creating a permanent, time-stamped, digital history that will add significant value to such items.

A properly documented truly memorable item, one that is the product of a personal encounter between a fan and a celebrity, can be very valuable. By applying a registration time-stamp to the items initial registration (and recording any subsequent events such as sales or trades), the existence and circumstances pertaining to the origin of such item will establish authenticity and that the autograph occurred at a specific point in the celebrity career. The date of an autograph relative to a celebrity's career has a remarkable impact on the value of that item to collectors.

Our vision is to provide the Registry to the millions of fans and owners of in-person, through-the-mail and/or purchased collectible items as a facility for them to create a permanent record of ownership and documentation (i.e., an audit trail or "provenance") that should, over time, significantly increase the value of the items owned.

MemReg's mission is to provide complex search capability for all these registered items and their supporting documentation, such as pictures taken at signing, authentication certificates and other related information. Anyone can register the items for free, thereby creating a very large market place for the dealers and a centralized sharing site for the collectors. In addition, free celebrity addresses and a biographical information service along with many other tools are provided to help the collectors. A flat fee is charge for the escrow service of items sold and ownership transferred.

Memorabilia Registry Corp. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Dynamic Biometric Systems Inc., ("DBSI") which trades on the public market as DYBO.PK.

FAQ

Q: Do you sell the Items in the Registry?
A: No. We do not sell or authenticate the items in the Registry. However, we provide tools for the owners to document and make the best claim in the public domain, and then allow the viewers the capability to search, examine and compare.

Q: What solutions does MemReg provide?
A: Reduce Fraud - The Registry creates a Publicly Accessible Audit Trail (¡°Provenance¡±) for memorabilia and collectibles. By providing this service, we believe the Registry will significantly reduce fraud in the memorabilia and collectibles market.
Public Display Venue - The Registry also provides a safe place where collectors and dealers can display the items they possess to other interested parties. There is no charge for registering memorabilia items and no charge for searching and viewing these items.
Escrow Service - The Registry will provide an escrow service to preserve and transfer the documentation, with all original timestamps, to the new owner. MemReg charges a flat fee of $5 per item for providing the escrow service of ownership title transfer to dealer sales items (assessed only when the item has been sold and successfully transferred) and a flat fee of $2 per item for collector traded items (direct transfer without escrow service).

Q: Is the Registry only for autographed collectibles?
A: No. Any item of value to a collector can be documented and displayed in the Registry.
